Carlos Diaz-Albertini, DDS
Dr. Carlos Diaz-Albertini graduated in 1990 from Loyola University’s School of Dentistry in Maywood, Illinois. While there, he was awarded the Achievement Award in Prosthodontics, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduating, Dr. Diaz-Albertini joined the the Naval Dental Corp., and served as a Lieutenant at the Marine Base in Camp Pendelton, California. He went on to complete his Endodontic training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.
In 1995, Dr. Carlos Diaz-Albertini joined the endodontic practice of Contemporary Endodontics, in Palos Heights, Illinois. Dr. Diaz-Albertini expanded the practice to Homer Glen, Illinois in 2006, with the help of his staff.
Dr. Diaz-Albertini is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Association of Endodontists, Illinois Association of Endodontists, and the Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club. He has held the offices of Educational Program Chairman, Treasurer, Vice President and most recently, President of the Englewood Branch of the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Diaz-Albertini joined the staff of Midwestern University in 2016, as an instructor at the College of Dental Medicine. Teaching is an exciting new chapter for Dr. Diaz-Albertini and he is looking forward to helping future dentists develop their skills.
Dr. Carlos Diaz-Albertini was born in New York and spent most of his years growing up in Key Biscayne, Florida. He now calls the South Suburbs home where he shares his life with his wife Lisa, two wonderful daughters, Lauren and Alexis, and their Boxer, Havana. Dr. Diaz-Albertini enjoys spending his free time with his family and cycling.
